Senior full-stack engineer, web and mobile

Ainur is an engineering and research firm in the Netherlands. We build and run software for our clients, and we are looking for a senior full-stack engineer who owns a product end to end: the mobile app, the web dashboard behind it, the API under both, and the release that puts it in users' hands.

The role

Each client product has one engineer who owns it, with a designer, the founders and the rest of the team behind them. You are that engineer for one or two products. You talk to the client in the weekly call, decide how things get built, build most of it yourself, review what others add, and ship. Our stack: React Native and Expo on mobile, Next.js, React and SvelteKit on the web, Go and Node on the server, PostgreSQL underneath.

What you will work on

  • Consumer and field apps on iOS and Android, with push notifications, deep links, a paid tier, and store releases you run yourself.
  • Admin dashboards that let a client run their own content, users, pricing and reporting without calling us.
  • GraphQL and REST APIs and the data models that outlive the first version: migrations, access control, analytics events, the boring parts done right.
  • Keeping what is live healthy: error tracking, performance, the fix that ships the same day.
  • Code review, including code written with AI tools, and the tests and standards that let a small team move fast.

What we are looking for

  • Seven or more years building software for production, and at least one product you owned end to end: design, build, release, run.
  • Senior in TypeScript, with React Native in production a must and Next.js or another web framework next to it. On the server, Go or Node in production, with a relational database.
  • You have shipped to the App Store and Google Play and dealt with what follows: review, crashes, versions in the wild.
  • You can run a technical conversation with a client in English and write down what was decided.
  • Based in the Netherlands, or elsewhere in the EU.
  • Nice to have: Expo EAS, PostHog or similar analytics, payments and subscriptions, Dutch.

  • Remote by default. In the Netherlands, on site with a client when it matters.
  • Work that is yours end to end, a designer next to you, and founders who still write code.
  • English is the working language. Dutch is welcome.
